Product Care - Fresher for Longer
Bouquets

Your freshly made, hand-tied bouquet will arrive looking exquisite with some flowers that you don’t always see on a day to day basis. Some of these beautiful stems are delicate, and as such may need a tiny bit more care to maintain their beauty.
-
Your vase should be clean, having been washed and rinsed in soap and warm water.

-
Dissolve your flower feed in the water before adding the stems to it.

-
Trim each stem diagonally approximately 1cm from the bottom before putting into the water.

-
Change the water and re-trim your stems in the same way every 2 days for best results.

-
Keep flowers away from direct sunlight in brightly lit windows and from heat sources, such as radiators.

As individual stems run their course and start to fade, please remove them and freshen the water for the remainder of the bouquet.
Common bouquet questions

Drooping - Caused by a lack of water or poor water uptake. To help revive them, re-cut your stems and pop them in hot water (tap, not boiling) and leave until the water has cooled. Now they are ready to go back into cold water.
Premature ageing - Minimise this by keeping your flowers in a cool place. Remember to change the water and feed regularly to prevent bacteria build-up in the stems.

Buds unopened - This sometimes occurs if the flower has been harvested too early. Please advise us and we will replace it for you.
Murky water - This is caused by a build-up of bacteria in the water. In this instance, it’s best to remove your flowers and thoroughly wash your vase with warm soapy water. Re-cut your stems and pop into fresh water with flower food if possible.

Door Wreaths
The stunning foliage that makes up your naturally decorated door wreath will benefit from a water spray deep inside the arrangement, twice a week. Please make sure you avoid spraying any dried flowers which may be part of the make-up. In high winds, we advise bringing your wreath inside to protect it.

Table arrangements
Similar to the door wreaths, the collection of beautiful foliage that makes up your naturally decorated centrepiece will benefit from a water spray deep inside the arrangement, once a week. Please make sure you avoid spraying any citrus fruits or dried flowers that may be part of the make-up.

Door Swags
The fresh foliage used to make up your beautiful door swag will benefit from a water spray inside the arrangement once a week. Once hanging in place, the swag won’t have a water source to help it survive, so if hung inside your home, please make sure it is kept away from heat sources, such as fires and radiators.
