Something wonderfully wicked this way comes...

On a beautiful, Autumnal September morning we had the absolute pleasure of visiting Dunham Pumpkins!

We were met by Johnny - the Protector of the Pumpkins - and his wonderful dog Otis - who invited us into their pumpkin fields to explore the crop and select the perfect pumpkins ready for our Halloween preparations to be made!

We had a blast! Such a wonderful experience. With pumpkins ranging from October orange to Casper white - and every colour in between; super smooth and nibbly nobbly, they had every variety going! We were truly spoilt for choice and can't wait to go back to pick more!

We made a selection with Johnny's help - Otis too of course - and have brought them home to begin work on a wonderfully spooky project we can't wait to share with you for Halloween...

...watch this space for further information later in the week!

*Dunham Pumpkins is run by 3 generations of the Hewitt family who have come together to create the ultimate pumpkin picking experience at Boundary Farm, Dunham Massey. Click here to visit their website. We strongly recommend a visit! And whilst you're there, why not head over to their Apple Barn - award-winning apple juice and cider - grown, picked and bottled from trees on the farm!

Perfect Autumnal goodness.

Keep an eye out for this week's Spooktacular Thoughtful Thursday post when we will be launching our range of Halloween goodies!
